Welcome to Backroads WiFi, a service of Forever And Always Boutique, LLC. We are pleased to offer internet to those who normally only have satellite as an option. We ARE NOT a satellite internet provider. We utilize cell towers around the country to provide high speed data to those who enjoy seeing the sun rise and set while sipping some sweet tea or coffee. It is also a great option for truckers stuck on the road all week or RVers and Bikers just enjoying life on the road.

This is the service we use in our home out in the woods on those beautiful backroads outside of city limits.  In our location about 3 miles outside of Marion, Louisiana near Bayou D’Loutre, we are getting consistent speeds of 5 Mbps to 27 Mbps, with more tests averaging above 15.  Locations near a tower will get better speeds.  We have seen customer results in other areas exceed 200 Mbps downloads.

Yeah, it works here.

Yes, we tested it first to tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly truth.  Your location will determine speeds.  Adjusting the router position can also increase your speeds.

We have personally checked the connection speeds throughout North Louisiana and Southern Arkansas. Since the box is portable as long as you have electricity, we bought a simple converter for our vehicle and checked the connection as we traveled…from Louisiana up to Connecticut is good and coming back home through Tennessee and Arkansas had positive results most of the way. We have had customers in other states share their praises on how great the connections are.

Up to 1 terabyte of high speed data (who even uses that much anyway?) 1 TB = 1,000 GB = 1,000,000 MB could be considered by most as “unlimited”

Just how much TV time is that?  The resolution you use also affects the amount of data you use. According to Netflix, you use about 1GB of data per hour for streaming a TV show or movie in standard definition and up to 3GB of data per hour when streaming HD video.

(about 333-1,000 hours of streaming…so, 11 to 33 hours out of each 24 hour day on one device for 30 days straight)

We do not install the device.  Setup is simply attaching the labeled antennas to the labeled ports and plugging in the unit to an electrical outlet (note: some devices don’t have external antennas, so just plug into the wall).

HOW DOES OUR INTERNET WORK?

We use 4G LTE & 5G cellular signal to provide wireless internet services. We send Routers with a SIM card installed activated with our data plan, using Cellular towers in your area.

How does this compare to Satellite Internet?

Satellite is heavily affected by the weather and our internet is not.  Satellite internet has a very high latency, generally 500+ ms ping. Our internet typically gets between 40 to 100 ms ping.

What Kind of speeds can I expect? Depending on how good your signal is, we’ve experienced speeds of just over 400 Mbps.  However, we’ve found a few locations without service available, because there aren’t cell towers near those areas.

Every location is different for speeds even inside your house. Your speed will depend on which router you buy and local tower traffic. It is also affected by how your house is built…a cinder block house will not get as good of a connection as a traditional frame home.

IS YOUR HOME OR WORKPLACE IN AN AREA WITH LITTLE TO NO INTERNET?

You can now connect to the web in rural areas while traveling or Living. Our services can help provide internet to most of the United States.

With mobile broadband, you can connect your home or business to the internet using the same wireless technology as a cellphone. Enjoy high-speed WiFi in your home or business. With mobile broadband, you don’t need an on-site technician to connect your home to the grid. Once you’ve plugged in your device, you will be all set. Just sit back and enjoy your internet!

Basically, it works just like using the hotspot feature on your phone, only with a more powerful connection. Just enter the network name and the password on the devices you want to connect.

IS THIS REAL? THIS SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

YES, we are for real! We started selling our routers and Internet plans to provide flat-rate, affordable internet access to individuals who do not have access to traditional high-speed internet options and suffer from extreme overage charges. We understand your pain, because we are one of you. Living in the pines and hardwoods of North Louisiana is beautiful, but we needed some of the conveniences of civilization…like internet. We figured if we needed it, some of you would, too.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT? CREDIT CHECK?

No contract and no credit checks! You may cancel anytime. We do require a subscription that can be cancelled at any time. We’ve found that autopay is much easier for bookkeeping purposes, so we ask you to do that.

Now people living out in the backwoods on those backroads in the middle of nowhere have an option for rural internet that is not only affordable, but also reliable. Unless a storm knocks out the cell tower your internet is coming from, cloudy days and rain don’t typically slow down your connection.

So, if you have a camp on Lake D’Arbonne here in Union Parish, Louisiana or live in the wilderness of no man’s land, you can have internet service where you are as long as you have a good signal. Whether you’re in Pennsylvania, Arkansas, or California, you can have reliable internet at a price you can afford.

With a full terabyte of data at your disposal, you can play games in Mississippi or work remotely in Missouri. You can even set up a mobile office and travel from Texas to Indiana while on a video conference (please don’t watch the screen while driving, though). Vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee or enjoy the beaches in Florida or South Carolina without having to be away from the office.

Watch your favorite streaming services in Ohio, Kentucky, or Oregon. Stay connected on social media visiting New York and Maine. Enjoy the beauty of Colorado and Utah without missing a college assignment deadline for that term paper due next week.

Washington, Arizona, Alabama, and Nebraska, we didn’t forget about you. Take in the sites of Wyoming, Kansas, or Idaho before seeing the Big Sky of Montana all while working from the comfort of your RV. Do some online trading in Minnesota or Michigan. Maybe do a little market research in Illinois or Nevada.

After all, with a terabyte of data you might as well consider it unlimited. All of you folks on the East Coast in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Delaware, and New Jersey that dream of living the country life can do so without giving up that main creature comfort we’ve all come to love…the world wide web.

Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina residents living in the sticks can still keep up with the Jones while shopping online for that new sportscar. Those passing through Maryland, West Virginia, and Washington, DC can know what the weather’s going to do. Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Vermont sound like lovely places to visit and live. Even in North and South Dakota’s you can have internet at your fingertips.

Now Alaska and Hawaii, I just don’t know how good your cell service is, but if it works, then you can enjoy wireless freedom, too. No matter how deep in the boondocks you live, you can enjoy that back country living even more with access to quality internet to keep you in the know. Just because you choose to live in the wilderness, doesn’t mean you have to live in isolation in the middle of nowhere.

So, go ahead and get signed up today so you can be surfing tomorrow!!! Actually, it takes a few days for your router to arrive…especially in some of those hills y’all live on out there.
